Saturday and Baking

Last night, we ate ELSCo seven bone steak (not with seven bones - no bones at all, in fact - it's just to do with the shape) with wedges (if you were husband) and a big bunch of asparagus.

I also made a rhubarb cake from my Herman starter

And a birthday cake for my granny (pictures to follow of the inside - I hope they will be pretty)

Here is how it looked inside - good, but more layers next time, I think.

And a few days ago, I made some choc cross buns - I can't remember whether I already made you look at those, so here they are.

This morning - I had a traditional easter breakfast.

And now we're off for afternoon tea-based lunch at the Langham...
